25th Anniversary / Thank You Card For George Lucas

This is an image I started off with as a charcoal drawing but then I scanned it into the computer and manipulated it in Photoshop.

25th Anniversary / Thank You card for George Lucas on display.
This card measures 60" tall and 40" wide (80" wide when opened)

This was a contract job that I was hired for by Steven J. Sansweet at LucasFilms LTD. in 2002. The Star Wars Celebration 2 was held in Indianapolis, Indiana during May of 2002 as it was also the 25th Anniversay of Star Wars - A New Hope. To commerate this pop cultural event I was contracted as a local Indianapolis, Indiana designer to design the 25thAnniversay / Thank You card for Mr. George Lucas the creator of Star Wars. During the Star Wars Celebration 2, the card was on display and all who attended the event were encouraged to sign the card for Mr. George Lucas. This card was presented to George Lucas shortly after Celebration II.

This makes me very happy that George Lucas actually has seen my Card.

I was the first person to sign the card. I signed just under the text in silver marker, the only person to use silver.
