werewolf (wâr-, wûr'-)
In European folklore, a man who changes into a wolf at night and devours animals, people, or corpses, returning to human form by day. Some werewolves are thought to change shape at will; others, who inherited the condition or acquired it by being bitten by a werewolf, are transformed involuntarily under the influence of a full moon. Belief in werewolves is found throughout the world and was especially common in 16th-century France. Humans who believe they are wolves suffer from a mental disorder called lycanthropy.

I have always had a fascination with creatures and werewolves are no exception. I have always wanted a full body werewolf costume but never wanted to shell out the thousands upon thousands of dollars to get one and those are not all that great in my opinion. With some studying and research I have decided that I will attempt to create my own full body werewolf costume.

I do not want my werewolf costume to look cartoony but more realistic. I sat down and researched werewolves and designed my idea. If this project turns out well, I would like to use this werewolf creature suit in a short video project that I have wrote.

Ok so now that I have an general idea of how I want to create my werewolf creature suit I am going to start with the creation of the head. I figure if I get the head finished and to something I think is decent I can continue onto the rest of this extremely ambitious project.
