Emperor Palpatine's Head - Star Wars Return of the Jedi

 I started with a foam wig head to use as a base for the Empeor head.

From there I took an old man mask that I had and removed the hair. I appiled the mask to the foam head.

I sculpted some details onto the head to make it uniform.


I decided not to add ears to the head since they will be covered up by the hood of the robe.
After working on the head I primed it.

The towel let me see what the head would look like under a hood. Looking good!
I then started to paint the head.
After the head was fully painted I sprayed a head with a clear coat to protect the paint.
While I was painting the head I also painted the hands that I was using for the Emperor.
