Well what can I say but that this time around I had a better time at Horror Hound than the last one earlier this year. This time not only did I get to meet a few people and network but also I made some new friends and if you know me, you know I love to meet new people. I have to give out a great big THANK YOU to a few of my better friends, people whom I can call friends and not just acquaintances Ryan Reynolds, Neecie the Entertainer, and Brandi The Living Dead Girl.
Friday: I got to talk with many people who are getting to remember my face at various conventions.
I finally got to meet one of the greatest actors out there, William Forsythe and got an autograph. The guys at Fear Werx were cool. For some pocket change one of them drew my friends and I as different characters. I am the Ninja Turtle. I got to meet and shake hands with Director John Landis who directed “American Werewolf in London.”
Another great highlight was the Neecie introduced me to Shawnee Smith (Saw 2 and others) and Lori. One will remember me due to my scar on my head. She also has a scar so we share something special with a head scar. The other will always remember me as “Gay David” thanks to Neecie. I can say that both of these ladies are very nice and I declined a White Castle from them. Sorry I do not want to kill myself yet.
I also met "Little"1 the gal from Little1’s Leather. They have some great leather items. I helped her out with a customer and posed for a picture while she tested a flogging whip on me. Oh what fun! PICTURE OF THAT COMING SOON.
That night I had a few drinks of wine and mingled with some people. It was great fun.
I met Marv Blauvelt who works in film from Bloomington, Indiana. A real nice guy and I also met one his friends Sean who is also an actor.
As we walked around and mingled with the people we had a nice dinner get together and again I met some people and had a great time. Paul is a voice master and is genius at performing scenes from many films. Great Job!
Then we were all invited to the VIP Party in which many of the actors who were at this show were hanging out and having some fun. I walked around and said hello to a few people and met a few new faces. To my surprise the party was getting a bit boring and then my friends livended it up by dancing. I did not know they could dance like that. It was an amazing good time.
It was a long night and I am glad I came to this show this time around. Now I am ready for the next one! Until the next one have a Horrific Good Time! |
